Hello beautiful soul đź’ž
We welcome you into The Ajna Collective and the Ashtanga practice via our 1st Month Starter package where, for your first-month only, there are no limits as to how many Ashtanga classes you may attend.
We understand through our own experience that Ashtanga can feel a little intense or unfamiliar at first, and that’s completely normal. The first few classes can sometimes feel like you’re just trying to keep up. But that “warm-up” period is part of the process. As you start coming more regularly (we recommend 3x a week for a month) something shifts. The movements begin to flow, the breath feels natural, and your mind starts to quiet down. Many experienced practitioners find that’s when they begin to experience the real magic of Ashtanga. So if your first class feels challenging, don’t give up just yet. Give it time, and let the practice reveal its beauty.
Note: All purchases of our Unlimited Ashtanga packages including "1st Month Starter" and "Unlimited Monthly" will receive 1 free pass to attend any of our Group Sound Healing classes.

FAQs
How does Ashtanga Yoga differ from other yoga styles?
Ashtanga follows a dynamic, structured sequence where you move with your breath through the same set of postures each time. It has a rhythm and flow that feels almost meditative once you get into it. Over time, that repetition helps you build strength, focus, and a deep connection between body and mind. After each practice, you will often feel an incredible sense of calm and inner peace like everything inside has settled into place. It’s challenging, yes, but also profoundly grounding.
What is Ashtanga Mysore?
Instead of everyone moving together to the teacher’s cues like most yoga classes, Mysore style classes allows each student to practice the Ashtanga sequence at their own pace. The room is usually quiet except for the sound of breath, and the teacher moves around giving individual guidance, adjustments, and support as needed. It’s a self-paced practice, but you’re never really alone because the teacher is always there to help you progress safely. As a beginner, you will often start with just a few poses and gradually build up over time, which makes it a really personalised and sustainable way to grow your practice. It’s a beautiful balance of independence and support where you learn to move with your own rhythm without any pressure, judgment or expectations.
